After his therapist pronounces him fully recovered from his break-up with Alex, Brian plunges back into the dating world. His efforts at the Club Car yield nothing of interest (despite Antonio's assistance with the "Good Cop, Bad Cop" routine), so he follows the advice of others and starts dating casual friend Joan. That elusive "spark" that is missing from their first three dates finally comes to life when Brian breaks up with her, but the "spark" that was there during their dates is now gone. Meanwhile, Lowell prepares a commencement address for his alma mater and Casey has trouble getting a good haircut.

Blossom is furious when Joey refuses to set her up on a date with his handsome but dumb teammate Richie, but has to admit he was right when a double date with Joey's dim new girlfriend Tanya bores her to distraction. Neri brings Jason's attention to a toxic dump in the ocean that is making Charlie sick. When Jason is reprimanded for leaving an important project, it is up to Lee, Brett, Froggy and Zoe to prove to Commander Lucas that the dumping of waste in the ocean is occurring. A barrel is recovered and dramatically revealed during a presentation on ORCA by Zenco, a major sponsor of ORCA research and the company responsible for dumping the waste. Neri once again expresses her desire to see the inside of ORCA.

Jane and Chris ask Sydney to seek Michael's share of the design firm in the divorce settlement, but Michael tricks her into settling for $5000.

There is a rugby match between the harbour men and the North Riding Police. At the pub afterwards Gina has fun flirting with one of the harbour men and with Phil. As she is driving home she notices that she is being followed. She panics, stalls her car and is chased into the woods. Greengrass notices that a young girl is in trouble and tells Nick unaware that it was Gina. Kate coaxes what happened out of her and Nick reports the crime. Inspector Merchison doesn't believe Gina, which infuriates Kate. Phil's tie is found in Gina's car, but Blaketon assures him that no one suspects him. Phil, Nick and PC Little unofficially question the harbour man from the pub and he is arrested under suspicion. Another girl in Whitby is also being followed, but luckily Nick is around when he makes an attack.Gina comes in for an identity parade and it turns out that it was PC Little who was responsible. Gina threatens to return to Liverpool just as a run away pig comes into the pub! - everyone has fun tr
